Where You Want to Be - A 3 Month Program
Where You Want to Be

Secure in yourself. Close to the people who matter.

The calm that doesn't leave even when things get hard. The conversations that don't spiral. A different way of being in your own life - and this time it stays.

If you're anything like me…

You've always been really good at everything you do. When you were young, you just understood things a little more than the other kids did. As an adult you have been able to handle more than the average person seems to comprehend. You see, you know, you feel it all.

You've always been capable - anything you cared about, you could do. And do it well. And that has been going your whole life.

But here's the thing. You never really felt like the best. Maybe for a second, here and there - but it never stuck around.

Heather Dempsey

And what you didn't see was the real reason you kept going so hard, kept raising the bar on yourself. I'll tell you why. Deep, deep down, you were hoping it would finally get you the love. The devotion. Somebody who'd pour into you with the same intensity you pour into everything you touch. Not just romantically either - friends, family, at work. You just wanted someone to give it back the same way you give.

"

And now you've achieved just about everything. So why do you still feel like you've achieved nothing?

I've been there too

I know that void.

I lived in it for years, I tried to fill the void every way I could - business, hobbies, friendships, every relationship I was ever in. And what I found on the other side of my own pain is the thing I want for you.

You understand yourself. You're reflective - you've probably already named your patterns and why they're there. Read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe done some therapy. And still been disappointed by how little actually changed.

It can start to feel a little hopeless - like, if I understand all of this, why aren't things shifting the way I want them to?

This is the part that comes after all that understanding. Where you finally feel calm that holds, steady in yourself, secure enough that the hard conversations don't rattle you - and it's not something you have to keep managing for the rest of your life.

On the other side

Here's what's actually waiting for you.

No more silence at the dinner table. No more putting ANYthing on the TV just to fill the awkward emptiness when you're with the people you're supposed to be closest to.

No more taking charge to make everyone else's life easier - because you'll finally see you were only doing it so they'd feel like they need you.

You'll do less. You'll demand more. And people will actually start seeing you, and treating you, the way you always wished they would.

And no - it doesn't push anyone out of your life, and it doesn't turn you cold. Honestly, the opposite. You get warmer, more fun, more yourself, steadier - so people move toward you, not away.

If you've ever caught yourself thinking, I wish…

  • I felt more peace
  • I had better boundaries
  • I had more self-respect
  • I had people who reciprocate the same effort I put in
  • There was more joy in the things I accomplish
  • I wasn't always the one in charge of everything

I get it. And there's another way.

Why this is different

We don't just talk about your patterns.

Understanding a pattern doesn't undo it. You already know that. You've understood yourself for years, and here you still are.

This works because we don't stop at understanding. We go to where the pattern actually lives and change it there, so it holds instead of wearing off the next time life gets loud.

The 3 Months - In Person or Virtual

Here's how it actually goes. We adjust as we go.

01

Seeing the pattern

First we figure out why you are the way you are - not the version you already know, the real one underneath. Most people think they're self-aware, and in a way they are. They know their personality, what they like, how they handle things. But that's just being familiar with yourself. This is the deeper layer, and seeing it clearly is what makes everything after it possible.

  • Your attachment style, and what it's been quietly doing to your relationships
  • The core wounds that have been shaping how you experience everything
  • The patterns that keep showing up - in love, at work, in how you talk to yourself
  • What you've been protecting yourself from, and what that protection has cost you
You can't change what you can't see clearly. This is where you finally see it - honestly, and without beating yourself up about it.

Where this gets youA clear, honest picture - so everything after it is aimed, not generic.

02

Changing the beliefs underneath

Some of the beliefs running your life got set before you were eight - filed away as rules you never agreed to. This is where they start to shift. Not through willpower, which was never going to be enough, but through something that reaches the part of you that's actually running the show. Picture actually believing the thing you only tell yourself on your best days - that you're worthy of ease, of receiving, of love you don't have to earn first.

  • Getting clear on the core beliefs that have shaped how you see yourself
  • Learning a process you can use on your own, anytime something comes up
  • Starting to shift what you believe is even possible for you
This one's structured and repeatable. You learn it with me, then it's yours - for whenever something comes up that deserves a closer look.

Where this gets youThe old beliefs start to loosen - where they actually live.

03

Feeling it without drowning in it

You know that thing where you react to something and immediately think, why did I just do that? Not some big blowup. Just that quiet moment of realizing you responded from somewhere old, somewhere that had nothing to do with what actually happened. This is where you get a real tool to catch it, interrupt it, and choose what comes next instead.

  • A simple, repeatable way to move through a hard emotion
  • Actually working through feelings you've been managing instead of resolving
  • Building the capacity to feel something fully without it flooding you
  • Real space between the trigger and your response
This one becomes yours too. We practice it together first, then you use it on your own - and it only gets more effective the more familiar it becomes.

Where this gets youMore steadiness, more ease - room to feel things fully without getting knocked over.

04

Actually getting your needs met

So much of the resentment and loneliness comes from needs that never got named - or got pinned on one person who couldn't read your mind. Most people who over-give have no idea what they actually need. This is where you find out, and where you learn to meet it without waiting on the right person or the perfect moment.

  • Figuring out your real needs - the surface ones and the deeper ones
  • Seeing which needs have been going unmet, sometimes for years
  • Building a whole range of ways to meet them yourself
  • Learning to receive - from yourself and from other people - without the guilt
We build you what's basically a menu of options - so you're never again stuck waiting on one person to meet one need in one exact way. Honestly one of the most freeing parts of the whole thing.

Where this gets youFulfillment that doesn't hang on anyone else - and the freedom that comes with it.

05

Forgiveness and letting it go

This is usually the part that means the most. By now we know what's still carrying a charge and why. This is where we bring some compassion to the parts of your story that never fully resolved - the resentment you've carried longer than you wanted to, the things you haven't forgiven, the parts of you that never felt safe to let anyone see.

  • Naming what's still carrying weight - and why it hasn't let go
  • Making peace with the parts of you that show up under stress or when you're alone
  • Moving toward real forgiveness - not for their sake, for your freedom
  • Putting down old stories about what you deserved, missed, or can't have now

Where this gets youResolution. Real forgiveness. A version of you that feels whole.

06

Making it stick

The last stretch isn't about piling on more. It's about making sure everything we've built actually lives in your regular life, not just in our sessions. You walk away knowing who you are now, what you want from here, and how to keep going.

  • Circling back to anything that still needs a little attention
  • Doubling down on the practices that landed hardest for you
  • A realistic plan to keep going on your own
  • Getting clear on what this next chapter actually looks and feels like
Here's what I watch happen by this point. A client will come in and say - my partner's been less defensive lately, or my coworker's suddenly so much easier. And I'll ask: have you been responding to them differently? And they stop. Because they hadn't put it together. The people around them didn't change. They did. And that changed everything.

Where this gets youChange that fits your actual life - not something you drop the second things get hard.

The Toolkit

Every tool is structured, teachable, and yours to keep.

Here's what we draw from.

Understanding - how you see the pattern
01

Finally understand why your relationships have followed the same patterns - and feel the relief of seeing yourself clearly, without judgment, maybe for the first time.

02

Stop feeling at the mercy of reactions you can't explain. You begin to see what's really driving them - and that you have far more choice than it ever felt like you had.

03

Catch the old pattern in the moment, before it takes over - so you respond as who you are now, not who you had to be back then.

04

Feel more secure and more fulfilled day to day, no longer waiting on one person or one circumstance to give you what you need.

Processing - how you move through it
05

Move through hard emotions without being flooded by them - and walk away from charged moments feeling calmer, clearer, and more in control.

06

Shift the beliefs about yourself that have quietly run your life for decades - and start to feel, not just know, that something different is possible for you.

07

Let go of the old stories that have held you back - and feel lighter, freer, and less weighed down by what you've carried for so long.

08

Find a sense of calm and groundedness in your own body - especially in the moments when thinking your way through just isn't enough.

Integration - how you make it lasting
09

Quiet the inner tug-of-war and feel more whole and at ease with yourself - less divided, more settled in who you are.

10

Stop being blindsided by your own reactions under stress - and feel a new security in the situations that used to undo you.

11

Tend to what's been aching underneath for a long time - and feel a deep, lasting sense of safety, worth, and self-compassion.

12

Move forward with real direction and momentum - so the changes you make take root and the life you want starts to feel within reach.

What Shifts Over 3 Months

- a picture of what becomes possible.

Replaying and reliving a conversation from six hours ago that the other person hasn't thought about once
Feeling composed enough in the conversation that there's nothing to replay - it already closed itself
Losing your composure, snapping, then feeling embarrassed about how you reacted
Noticing what's happening inside you before you react - so you respond in a way that feels aligned with what you want and how you want to be understood
Jumping in to take charge and do everything for everyone, exhausted
Knowing when you actually want to help versus when it's an unconscious need to feel important - and the difference just comes naturally
Constantly scanning for everything that could go wrong so you're ready for all of it
No natural panic - but still every bit the person who can handle whatever comes
Taking things personally, whether it's aimed at you or not
Knowing that what someone does doesn't necessarily say anything about what they think of you
Relying on other people to make you feel needed, wanted, loved, and secure
Knowing how to create all of that for yourself - which quietly attracts the people who do it too
Knowing what you're doing and why, and still not being able to stop it
Changing at such a deep level that you just do what you always hoped you would - no fight, no struggle
Taking charge of everything because at least then you know how it'll be done
Doing less, demanding more, and being wanted for you - not for what you do to earn it
Keeping it together on the outside while inside you're depleted and your head is spinning
The calm on the inside finally matches the calm you show on the outside
Silence at the dinner table, the TV filling the quiet with the people you love most
Real presence with each other - making moments and memories instead of filling space
Being low-maintenance, barely doing anything for yourself
Noticing how much you enjoy the little things - and that pouring into yourself is what lets everyone around you get the best of you
Real stories, real shifts

Change that actually held.
