6 Powerful Questions

For Pursuing Your Dreams? (or new year’s goals)

What's your dream?

Want to give your vision a jumpstart?

Write down your goals and use these questions to speed up the delivery of your dream.

1. What's your highest priority in this lifetime?

What's most important for you to experience, explore or embrace this time around?

Until you answer this question, your life goals might not be aligned with your current actions and circumstances. Unaligned with your inner passion, your intentions will lack the power to attract the people and situations necessary to become a reality.

Get clued in to your true joy.

What activities did you enjoy as a child?

What are your hobbies now?

When your goals are aligned with your soul, synchronicity kicks in to guide you to your target.

2. Is this your dream, or someone else's?

Are your goals your own choice, or what others think you should strive for?

Are you in a job that you studied for because others steered you in that direction?

Do you want to look back in your old age and wish you had followed your passion?

Will you regret having "played it safe?"

I’ve had clients ask “Is it selfish to go after my own dream?”

HECK NO! You can’t pour from an empty cup and what joy can you give to others if you haven't found it for yourself first?

3. Are you settling for less than?

Are you resigned to accepting less than your full share of love, health, and success this lifetime?

Have you compromised and sacrificed your dream for the sake of others or because it seemed to hard?

Reality check: Anything short of living your true passions will never make you happy. Do you really want to risk living the rest of your life unfulfilled?

4. What will you feel like when you reach your dream?

Personal passion fuels a vision.

Dive into the thrill and exhilaration of the feeling of living your dream.

The Hawaiian Kahuna say, "Where your creative attention flows, so flows your life."

Practicing this is a HUGE factor in achieving your dream. It is a part manifestation and a part action-taking inspiration.

Tap into the future version of yourself and imagine what it will feel like when you reach your goal or dream. What feelings will you be experiencing? Do this as often as possible and supercharge your ability to transform your dream to reality.

5. What steps can you take today toward your dream?

Don't defer your dream. Set up supports and systems around you to instantly translate your intentions into action. Jump on every opportunity that is in line with your purpose and vision.

Are there smaller projects that lead to your larger dream? If the dream is to run a marathon, train for a local fun-run first. And find a way to measure your progress. Track those little wins-by writing in a journal or telling a friend.

6. Are you telling yourself: "I can't have my dream?"

Most people don't believe they can live their dream.

Either their conditioned belief system (aka subconscious mind) has them believing and staying on par with “someone can't make a living doing what they love”, or “I don't deserve my dream.” “Who am I to want so much.”

To avoid the pain of feeling they can't have their dream, people often keep their dream so buried they can't remember they ever had a dream.

I haven’t met a person who hasn’t had a dream for themselves at some point in their life.

BUT I’ve met a lot who aren’t pursuing it which is very sad.

I believe in a world where everyone deserves to experience their dreams.

Are you going for yours?

Something simple and impactful for 2022

After the few years we've had, we deserve something simple.

It is something I am really starting to value.

Having one main focus or inspiration motivates my choices.

In the past, I was all over the place, doing all the things at once and as life became too overwhelming to manage that, I started stripping things away and making it simple.

So as we move into the new year, what is a world that you would choose to inspire how you feel and what you experience in 2022?

Email me to share what word feels good for you for 2022?  I think mine will be simple - Simple 😁

5 Quick Stress Busters (just in time for the holidays)

How do you react when your plans fall through?  Or when people test your patience?
Do you roll with the punches?  Or does anxiety keep you from being really present and enjoying yourself?

For most of my life, anxiety has been present or peeking around the corner.  But here are 5 things I use to help keep stress under control:

More Rest and Sleep.  It’s very common in our society to exist on less than 6 hours of sleep a night.  But experts recommend 6-8 hours of sleep per night. Not just to rest our bodies, but to rejuvenate our minds. Sleeping is the time for our bodies to not just rest, but heal.  I am not making any medical recommendations here but it wasn’t until I added magnesium to my routine that I have had quality sleep.

Take a walk.  10 minutes is all you need to start having a positive impact on your body’s hormones and emotional wellbeing.  This is actually my favorite!

Turn it off.  The convenience that cell phones have added to our lives can actually be a double-edged sword.  We depend on them so much it seems we can’t live without them.  Our minds are constantly filled with news, social media, emails, etc. and it is nearly impossible for us to settle. Put your phone down at least 30 minutes before bed.  (I’m dedicated to getting better at this one)

Take time to unplug - a vacation if you can.  It doesn’t have to be a fancy vacation resort.  A change of scenery - like a day at the beach, or an afternoon at the park.  Just anywhere you can be and not think about the bills, work, or whatever tensions you may have.  It’s important to take time for yourself, so do it!  You cannot give what you do not have.

Gratitude Distraction.  When you are feeling like nothing is going right and the stress is really getting to you one of the most effective things you can do is to find as many things that you are grateful for.  At least 3 - 10 is even better.  As challenging as this can be for the victim or gloomy part of us, it is usually an instant mood lifter.

Any one of these suggestions can be powerful.  I encourage you to try all 5.  Find your favs and double down on them.  I’ll be curious to hear how much more ease you experience in your life when you are consistent with them for a few weeks in a row.

Which on my list feels good for you? I’m curious, reply back to let me know.
